In association with the Physics Department at Sam Houston State University, the 2019 Mitchell Conference on Collider, Dark Matter, and Neutrino Physics will be held on May 15-17 at the George P. and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics and Astronomy, Texas A&M University. The conference will focus on recent developments in the fields of collider, dark matter, and neutrino physics. The conference will be attended by experimental and theoretical experts from these fields, and plenty of time will be allocated for interaction, discussion, and collaboration.
Travel Information
Easterwood Airport (CLL) is located only 2 miles from campus and offers daily flights from/to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
You may also wish to consider flying into Houston-area airports (George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH); William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and complete the rest of the journey (100 miles) by rental car or airport shuttle. You can arrange shuttle service to and from Houston airports with GroundShuttle.
Hotel
The hotel we have booked is The George hotel in College Station. It is around a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the Mitchell Institute, they also offer complimentary shuttle service from CLL airport (this will need to be arranged in advanced by calling before hand and letting them know your time of arrival).
