Dr. Arnowitt has worked in many branches of theoretical physics including, e.g., general relativity, quantum field theory, high energy particle phenomenology, supersymmetry and supergravity, and liquid Helium theory.

Symposium

Please come join us in celebrating the life and work of Dr. Richard (Dick) L. Arnowitt. The two day event includes lots of physics, food, and fun. Everyone is welcome. All talks will be given in the Institute for Quantum Science and Engineering (IQSE) located on the 5th floor of the Mitchell Physics Building.

Memorial Tributes and Reception

At 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on September 19, 2014 there will be a gathering of family and friends to pay tribute to Dr. Richard Arnowitt. The gathering will be in the IQSE, 5th floor area. PLEASE RSVP for the reception by 12 noon on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 if you have not already done so in order that sufficent food may be provided.
