Collider, Dark Matter, and Neutrino Physics 2020

In association with the Los Alamos National Laboratory, the National Laboratories Office at Texas A&M University and the Physics Department at Sam Houston State University, the 2020 Mitchell Conference on Collider, Dark Matter, and Neutrino Physics will be held on May 26-29 at the George P. and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics and Astronomy, Texas A&M University.

The conference will cover a variety of phenomenology topics including dark matter, collider, and neutrino physics with particular focus on developments and prospects in Coherent Elastic Neutrino-Nucleus Scattering (CEvNS) and its complementarity to the broader theoretical and experimental neutrino physics program.


Travel Information

Easterwood Airport (CLL) is located only 2 miles from campus and offers daily flights from/to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).

You may also wish to consider flying into Houston-area airports; George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), or Austin airport (AUS) and complete the rest of the journey (100 miles) by rental car or airport shuttle. You can arrange shuttle service to and from Houston and Austin airports with GroundShuttle.


Hotel

The hotel we have booked is The George hotel in College Station. It is around a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the Mitchell Institute, they also offer complimentary shuttle service from CLL airport; this will need to be arranged in advance by calling the front desk and letting them know your time of arrival.

*Note: Lodging arrangements will only be made for invited speakers and will only be covered for the duration of the conference (Monday arrival, Saturday departure). If extra nights are wanted, participants may call the hotel (using the confirmation number from the reservation we will have made under your name for the M-S block) to requests the extra nights and pay using a personal credit card.
