Collider, Dark Matter, and Neutrino Physics 2022

In association with the Physics Department at Sam Houston State University, the 2022 Mitchell Conference on Collider, Dark Matter, and Neutrino Physics will be held on May 24-27 at the George P. and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics and Astronomy, Texas A&M University. The conference will focus on recent developments in the fields of collider, dark matter, and neutrino physics. The conference will be attended by experimental and theoretical experts from these fields, and plenty of time will be allocated for interaction, discussion, and collaboration. This workshop is funded in part by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.


Travel Information

Easterwood Airport (CLL) is located only 2 miles from campus and offers daily flights from/to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).

You may also wish to consider flying into Houston-area airports (George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH); William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and complete the rest of the journey (100 miles) by rental car or airport shuttle. You can arrange shuttle service to and from Houston airports with GroundShuttle.


Hotel

We have booked group reservations at several hotels in town. It is less than a 20-minute walk from each hotel to the Mitchell Institute. The hotels also offer shuttle service or uber service from CLL airport (this will need to be arranged in advanced by calling the number listed and letting them know your time of arrival).

We will make all the arrangements and provide the hotel with visitors details, so individuals do not need to get in touch with the hotel prior to arrival. Hotel dates will be made accordingly, and will be covered only for invited speakers for the duration of the conference (Monday check-in and Friday check-out). You will be sent your lodging confirmation before the workshop with details for which hotel you will be staying at. *Please provide your dates of arrival and departure through the conference registration by April 8th. You may contact Amanda Barreiro if you need to change your dates.
